Rampant Caries in Adult Before and After 14 Months

Date of Procedure:

March 5, 2021
Follow-up: May 16, 2022

Products Used:

Infinix™ Universal Bond and Infinix™ Universal Composite (A2 & A3)

About the Case:

A young woman previously treated on a routine basis for dental care at another dental clinic arrived suffering from rampant caries and secondary caries found in all the composite restorations in the patient's mouth. Due to this clinical condition, many teeth underwent endodontic treatments.

Treatment with standard composites is not suitable for a patient with such extensive caries, subgingival caries and secondary caries under relatively new restorations.

The recommended direct restorative treatment for this patient is the use of restorative materials, Infinix™ composites and bonding agent, to form a base under indirect restorations, onlays and endocrowns.
